Reference designs

Small, documented builds you can copy. Each one has a wiring table, a firmware outline, design notes, its limits, and a parts list.

Leak sentinel

An ESP32 that watches a water sensor on the floor, sounds a buzzer and publishes an MQTT alert when water appears under a tank, pump or washing machine.

6 parts, reference design, draft

Gas watch

An MQ-2 gas sensor read by an ESP32 that logs readings, sounds a local alarm and switches an exhaust fan relay when the level rises above a clean-air baseline.

5 parts, reference design, draft

DC power monitor

Voltage and current logging for a 12 V battery system up to 20 A, such as a solar battery or a router backup, with alerts before the battery is drained too far.

Draft or validated

A draft design has its wiring and firmware outline written and checked against datasheets. A validated design has also been built and measured on our bench, with the method published.

Reference designs are internal R&D demonstrators, kept separate from paid client work. Need one developed further for your product? Send us a brief.
